The Queen Palm is not native to North America but has been introduced to select areas of the US as a popular ornamental garden tree. It is a fast-growing, medium-sized palm tree, reaching a height of 30-50 feet. Trunk size is variable, ranging from 6-20 inches. The fruit is bright orange with approximately 6-foot bunches containing 1-inch oval fruits. The large, pinnate leaves typically have around 300 leaflets, with each leaflet around 18 inches in length and 1-2 inches wide.
